Apple Should Buy Tesla
Apple appears to have a problem with innovation. Since Jobs passing, they've yet to have a meaningful product launch. Changing the iPhone screen size, introducing a stylus for the iPad, Apple Music, the Apple Watch etc. have all been reactionary in nature. There is no doubt that Tim Cook is tremendous at managing Apple's supply chain and building a war chest of cash, but people are starting to have doubts about his ability as a product visionary. Nobody has those doubts about Elon Musk. The doubts for Musk and Tesla are in regards to the financial and supply chain side. Musk is the type of visionary that could take Apple and their products to the next level. Tim Cook has the business acumen to ramp up Tesla's production and have them turning a profit instead of lighting their cash on fire. Seems like a match made in heaven to me.
